So we see that Adam hasn't changed that much in assuming that every woman fancies him, his comments on Emo's is kind of accurate some of the more Emo music is well you get the point.

I checked on i player for his dads name.

Now apart from that and she wants me jokes - I don't think in the toilet scene his eye-line that he's disinterested and comments about the cloths kids wear these days.

There is also a suspicion that could she be the killer?

It also seems that he knows about the chicken did George or Nina tell or do all vampires find it out now?

ewan (2) - Maybe that's why Matt was following her around? Subconsciously he knew she killed him? Somehow I don't think she would be the killer though - I'm guessing it will be someone outside of these three.

Also, like Annie and the Bristol house plumbing, maybe there will be an ongoing clue that will eventually reveal the truth? The only thing so far I can think of is the eggs... :/

Nice to know a little more about Christa (I have been spelling it Krista..oops).

It's weird, when I read what Adam has to say e.g. 'No, seriously. Let's get a room', I laugh out loud but when I watch it on the episode with Adam saying that kind of stuff, I just cringe like it's cheesy.

I am intrigued as to how Adam knows about the chicken on a string thing?

As this is a Christa blog I thought I'd note some of her characteristics or comments made in the show.

She mentions her scars so we know how she caught it
"I'll wake up and there will be no scars"

Also her sense of smell - or just the stink of the toilets
"I can smell every lad since school first opened"

these are the we know comments.

Over all she is in denial or just hasn't changed yet - Not to sure about that theory after all in under a month she has come back from the attack changed cloths become disruptive enough to get the P.E teachers attention so I am thinking she's changed at least once.

As to whether that's the case I am defiantly looking forwards to the conversations on the full moon episode.

Ha ha it's taken me a while to warm to Adam, a lifetime of teenage sexual frustraion or not you would think after 46 years the teenage boy humour and comments would have got a bit old... But his concept of Emos may have just swayed me in his favour :D

I don't think Christa did it, that would be much too obvious but I guess she had to be a suspect at least to begin with, what with being a werewolf and all... So when she 'sees' Adam has made a profile of her I hope we get to see her profile of him next because that has to be hilarious... I think Matt chose to follow her because she could see him and was reacting to him, even though she was creeped out at least she wasn't looking straight through him!

A quick thought, all this talk of whodunnit - of course it may not have been a murder at all? Presumably someone else was involved/saw it happen/knows more than they're saying about Matt's death but that doesn't necessarily mean he was murdered, it could have been some kind of freak accident or something else - he doesn't remember anything and his body hasn't been found yet... All we know for sure is he has some unfinished business that's stopping him from moving on, which presumably has something to do with his death - In Annie's case that was finding out about her murder but I think we know the writers are better than playing the same card twice? I think it's safe to assume that all is not as it seems...

As for the chicken on a string I thought that was Tully's thing but Tom was doing it too, either Tom and McNair must have met Tully at some point, which isn't impossible (don't think they'd have liked him much though!) or it's a generally known tactic that George had just previously missed out on... In which case Christa may do it too but it's unlikely she'd have told Adam anything as she's still in denial so he must have asked George or Nina about it...

Hooray, regular blog updates! I like the idea of it being written from Adam's point of view, I hope we get stuff by the other two as well. I'd rule out Crista for obvious reasons, unless she did it while transformed but I doubt that.

I wonder where she transforms? Indoors or outdoors?

Just some thoughts about christas attitude change. As mentioned before she talks about her scars, and also mentions that she'll 'wake up and be into boys and ponies again' perhaps this gothic look occured before she was attacked and that the new look and getting in with the wrong crowd ultimately led to her condition.

I still think she is somehow connected to Matt's death, although Matt following her because she reacts to him is gar more plausible.

Okay I can't help it, I just want to give Adam a serious clip round the ear! Just what were his parents doing with him for 46 years? they must have kept him away from everyone or he would have been severely put in his place by now.

The denial from Christa about being a werewolf makes it sound like she hasn't even been through a full moon yet but she has 'scars' not 'wounds' which implies healing.....not sure Christa is quite who she appears to be.

I think Christa seems a bit like George when we first met him, he didn't want to bring 'th wolf' into everyday life and wanted to escape it. Christa seems to be doing the same, not wanting others to find out by avoiding people and getting close to them.

The point I think that wounds and scars would require hospital or at least a doctor and as that wasn't mentioned by the P.E teacher then must have been a while ago.

So if it was a werewolf on the full moon she was attacked before he disappeared. Not a week which is when - according to the paper He was last seen. Whether that was a full moon or not.

Because she's also a teenager perhaps hormonally she's different from Nina. would this mean when she transformed it was different?

I think someone mentioned this in one of the above comments, but I'm starting to wonder whether Matt was actually murdered at all. That's just the theory Adam immediately came up with. Perhaps Matt knows a bit more than he's letting on...?

Plus, there's definitely some significance in the eggs...! ;)

I think Adam's never grown up mentally because his parents never had to see him grow up physically so he ended up like Timothy in Sorry only nobody really notices because despite the fact that he hasn't matured in 30 years his personality suits his physicality.

Regarding the whole wound/scar thing, young people heal faster than old and I'm fairly certain werewolf dna is likely to boost your immunity and ability to heal.

Perhaps Matt was the werewolf (which would explain his appetite) but for some reason forgot and maybe the hex is still on him even after death and that's why he's still around

I like the idea that Crista is perhaps a different type of werewolf it's an interesting concept
I really agree with the giving Adam what he deserves he's a little p***k and I'd love to give him a good slap around the head but that would be a smidge suicidal

Crista seems like a nice girl and a bit like myself (minus the scars) so perhaps the changes are'nt so much scar related as she is just finding herself. Something that is very human and normal I guess you could say but it will be interesting to see how this story unfolds as we see more of the young (kinda) trio

Okay there are 4 free days and 2 more main character profiles So I think we'll have another day at least to mull over who Christa is.

Me starting with the opening tracking shot. we see her navigate past the dancers. - My thoughts were this is new to her trying to find her footing.

I am of the theory she has changed once - despite the rings on her fingers. The cord around her wrist however does that have meaning?

Now When Nina first got scratched most of her cloths were overly long so as to hide her arms is that why the Layers that Adam comments on?

Her comments as she leaves Adam with a definition of the teenage male to think about she does say

Now the reaction when she gets called a werewolf is to go quiet No looking at Adam like he's a loony and the whole speaking to the dead still unsure.

The toilet scene some have commented on her knowing who Eggward Woodward is. all it shows is she knows his name.

40 - I think it's not that easy for them remember Tully had to out and out say it to George so who knows.

I don't think so since, like ewan just said, Tully had to say to George and if they are in wolf form when it happens how can they recognise them?

And George didn't even know he scratched Nina and he wasn't aware of it but then again he never really tried I guess?

Is it clear how much time has passed between Adam leaving Nina and George and where we see him know? I reckon its longer than it seems - a bit of time to settle, decide what his plan is, get 'clean'. So he may be in touch with Nina or George or Mitchell for a bit of advice and help over this time therefore knows more than he did in BH. Stuff like the chicken etc. Loving how Adam is a perpetual teen not just to look at but in personality too.

Possible connections between Christa and Matt:

1. Christa killed Matt during her first full moon. Neither realise this as of yet.

2. Christa and Matt were both attacked on the same night. Christa survives and becomes werewolf.

I think this is supposed to follow pretty closely time line wise with being human. So not that much. I think that things are going to happen quickly relatively any way in being human less time passing.

To the peeps wondering how Adam knows about the chicken on a string thing, when he firsts talks to Nina, he calls her Goldie (sp?), like the Blue Peter dog, so he obviously knows right from the start what she is. So maybe he's met others before. True, he has stuck with his parents until now, but they had control over him and probably treated him like a regular son other than the obvious blood treatment. It's just a suggestion. But maybe George and Nina talked about such things before he departed from them.

If u ask me I think Christa is in denial just the same as george was when being human began about the whole werewolf thing. If Christa did kill matt she probably wouldn't remeber becase she probibly was a wolf when she did it but i dont think she did kill matt who did kill him well we will just have to wait and find out.

right before anyone asks or says its like adam knew about christa being a werewolf he is a vampire and vampires can smell werewolfs a mile off

I've only had time to skim all these comments so sorry if this has been said but I think it's pretty obvious that Christa must have transformed at least once, probably more and is well aware of what has happened to her/what she is. That teacher said about her attitude changing, which is presumably as a result of being turned, but he didn't mention her recently coming back from time off sick, which she surely would have if she had been attacked and injured. So it must have been some time ago. She has scars so her wounds have had time to heal. I don't think she's denying it because she hasn't realised what she is yet, but it's not exactly the sort of thing you'd chat freely about and admit to the first person who asks, especially if it was someone a bit creepy and weird like Adam appears to her. George would deny it too, he's denied it in the past when vampires have noticed. And he's had ages to come to terms with it and knows exactly what happened to him, he knew before he ever met Mitchell and had dealt with it on his own for months before that. Christa as a teenage girl would probably see it as a personal private problem that is no one else's business! So having Adam show up and knowing what she is, would probably throw her a bit. I'm sure after a few more episodes or when the full moon hits she won't be denying it anymore.

The ghost as previous werewolf idea strikes me because I've written were stories before and were beings are often killed off after infecting another. I reckon ghosts don't smell so Adam and Christa wouldn't know. Perhaps Matt's hex hasn't been lifted because there hasn't been a proper ceremony.

Another idea is that perhaps Matt ate a dodgy 'egg' and was eaten alive by the thing inside?

I must say that I did want knock Adam's block off at the start of the BH episode for his mouth by the time George and his plant rescued him I kinda just accepted he's a grown man stuck in a teenage body and this is how he's coping. 46 year old Virgin!

I too think Christa has changed at least once but much like George is in denial. I don't think she had anything to do with Matt's murder either. He just hangs around her as she can see him. Even if she only hurls insults at him, it is communication.

i think christa has changed two or three time i dont think matt is a werewolf or was killed by one (including christa) and i was wondering where is adam staying right he cant get a good paying job as he is only "16" or thats what people think and who would sell a house to a "16" year old 48. i saw that to the first time i saw BH but i think what you think is a n is a r and a very small rushed t i dont think the danny did it becuse it would be over to quickly

Are we absolutely sure she's a werewolf? (as others have hinted at)

Evidence for:
Adam thinks she is - he could be wrong; he's a bit of a fool
She can see ghosts - so can various other Types
She has a good sense of smell - hmm. dunno.
She has scars - lots of teenage girls have scars, particularly if they self-harm
She has changed recently - that basically defines the teenager imho; one minute it's all fairies and pink and ponies, the next minute it's mascara and "whatever" and doom.

Maybe the reason she can see Matt (and that Adam thinks she's different) is that something awful has happened to her (abuse?) which has changed her somehow.

I love how they are so bitchy towards each other right now. Personally I don't think it was Crista who killed Matt - the eggs have to be significant somehow, surely? Maybe he had a bad case of salmonella, hence the throwing up in the loo?

Eggs seem to be a big clue...who's Matt's only spa who's allergic to the offending chicken poop?
