Dickens in London

Dickens in London presents five short plays based on Charles Dickens' journalism about walking in London to tell the story of the writer's life.

Adapted by Michael Eaton, the cast stars Samuel Barnett, Alex Jennings and Antony Sher each taking their turn to play Dickens. Following Dickens' changing relationship with the city that fired his imagination, each stand-alone play takes its title from one of Dickens' own appellations: A Not Over-Particularly-Taken-Care-Of-Boy; Boz; the Sparkler of Albion; the Uncommercial Traveller; and The Inimitable.

    Hi there...
Thursday on 91Èȱ¬ Sport Schedule... 1900-2100 Live coverage of the RaboDirect PRO12 match between Glasgow Warriors and Scarlets. (not available on Freeview)

On Thursday though on Freeview, it's Dickens London, which I add is already on several times during the week! How about screening the live rugby, and then straight into the Radio 2 Folk Awards? Surely this makes much more sense, to have something live over something that's repeated quite frequently this week already on Freeview? The 91Èȱ¬ Freeview Red Button scheduling has been much better lately - how about a schedule change for the rugby!!!

  • Comment number 2.

Why can't I find a schedule for the Red Button? I missed the Folk Awards last night and want to know when I can watch them again.

  • Comment number 3.

Re: post 1 (above), any news on whether Rugby can be on Freeview? Does seem daft that something that's repeated loads of times already today is on instead of the rugby!

  • Comment number 4.

@ chris murray: the schedule was for highlights on Thursday and Friday (see above).
