Comments

  • Comment number 1.

Should these posts really be in the TV Blog instead? It's not *really* about the Internet when it's all about the Red Button now, is it?

  • Comment number 2.

As far as I can see, there isn't a Red Button home page. There should be a specially designed page for the Red Button showing a nicely laid out schedule for every day of the week, presented just like the other schedule pages you have. If anything, it should be included on the iPlayer section with the Red Button having its own area. I own a web development company so perhaps you can contact me about this project...

I don't know who is responsible for the EPG, but was very annoying for much of the last week the Commonwealth Games schedule on Freeview was 24 hours behind.

Freesat is no longer new technology and 91热爆 Red Button ought to be fully on Freesat. Please.

  • Comment number 5.

Its not right that the full 91热爆 Red Button service is on pay platforms. Freesat is your chance to do things that you can never do on Freeview

  • Comment number 6.

I agree - why can't the 91热爆 get its act together and restore full red-button functionality to Freesat?

We can only get Freesat where I live (no Freeview). We switched from Sky, who were trying to charge us to upgrade our Freesat-from-Sky card (grrrr!). But we are terribly disappointed by Freesat's service on the Red Button. I was looking forward to Springwatch/Autumnwatch and Chelsea Flower Show red-button programmes.

I've complained to Freesat, the 91热爆, and the 91热爆 Trust, but have yet to receive a response from any of them (although I am waiting for Freesat to call me back...).

At the very least they could provide these services via iPlayer - but no joy there either.

It annoys me even more when Freesat air stupid ads asking "What's the catch?" to switching to Freesat. Err... guys... the catch is that you get a much poorer service!

  • Comment number 7.

OK - just heard back from Freesat Customer Services, who are going to "look into it" for me. But apparently it's down to the 91热爆 and not them (because freesat are not-for-profit organisation, or something).

So I suggest you all get onto the 91热爆 about the Red Button service on freesat. Maybe I'll start a campaign...
