A few things that you might have missed.
Jo Wickremasinghe, the Head of 91Èȱ¬page and Syndication Services, has added a new comment to let users know what's happening with customisation and the homepage.
Paidcontent have the story . Paidcontent's Robert Andrews had previously which has now been turned down by the 91Èȱ¬ saying:
"It is in the public interest that this information should be disclosed to all licence-fee payers at the same time, rather than provided in advance to one individual."

The Live desktop isn't there in the beta and this wasn't made clear in Anthony's post. Details of features that aren't in the beta as yet are which may help. Apologies for any confusion.
The Red Button on iPlayer is a question for another team and I've sent it to them.
