Episode 3 of R&DTV is now available to view and download via the Backstage blog:

A interview with Michael Sparks of 91Èȱ¬ R&D on the open source project Kamaelia and finally a short look back at 91Èȱ¬ Ceefax as most of us in the UK experience Analogue TV switch off.

You can watch Victoria Derbyshire on the 5 live blog talking about her use of social media as part of her programme. There's also a Q&A with Up All Night presenter Rhod Sharp as part of social media week on the 5 live blog.
There's a video of Erik Huggers, boss of Future Media and Technology speaking at the last month where he announced that there'd be over 2,000 hours of coverage of the Vancouver Winter Olympics on red button services. There's also a report on the website.

Within these blogs there is no science and technology and the 'Climate Change' site hasn't had an input since last summer (when it was nice and hot anyway). The remaining blogs all cover gardening.

Also, while freeview HD is going to be launched soon none of the major Set top box manufacturers seem to have one yet e.g.Sagem don't yet have any
