But iPlayer is only the beginning of the story. Because when that iPlayer moment is over, the programme disappears and we are still having to apologise to the audience. And yet those programmes do still exist and increasingly may be available elsewhere on the web...
That fact formed part of the thinking behind this - a permanent page for every episode of every programme the 91Èȱ¬ has ever broadcast.

...it's easy to forget where the 91Èȱ¬'s on-demand programme offer all began; with the 91Èȱ¬ Radio Player, which is 6 years old today (or rather, it would be, if it hadn't already been rebadged iPlayer).

    Although I'd probably need two, so I can use the social module. Well maybe six of them, you know, to test it properly.

    I dream of a day when the 91Èȱ¬ is no longer a TV broadcaster, but a huge, regularly updated bittorrent tracker, filled with high quality DRM free content, made available to the people who have paid for it's creation in whatever format best suits them.
