BLACK SQUADRON DEDICATION
We've had an email from across the pond documenting some impressive BS devotion...
Ìý
"Joe and Adam,
Ìý
My sister and I are avid listeners to your show, but we live in the United States, in Florida, and therefore cannot listen to your live show (considering it starts at 4 in the morning here). However now it's summer vacation, so we decided why the heck not? So we woke up at 4 in the morning to listen to your show and we are enjoying being able to listen to all of your show, not just the highlights. For the duration of the summer, we will be Black Squadron members:-D. Attached are some pictures of us following your commands (some making up for lost time). We love ALL of your show, none of those "except"s from us.
Ìý
Much love,
Emma and Vivian"
Can any Black Squadron members prove they are more dedicated than this?

I recently did a charity skydive and moments before leaping out of the moving airplane at 11,000 feet I was listening to Dr Buccles telling the 'subordinate Claus' joke, which was remarkably calming!
I plan to provide video evidence of my friends and I listening to the podcast in bizarre situations over the coming weeks in an attempt to redress the balance and show that Black Squadron aren't the only brown nosers round here.

I'm also in FL and have only managed the 4AM Black Squadron status a couple of times......usually after too much caffeine the day before. It obviously takes hard work and determination for us BS members in the Eastern Time zone. 4 is too late to stay up from the night before and too early to avoid a nap later in the day.
Keep up the good work BS!

However, well done, Emma and Vivian!

I.e. listening live in another time zone? Whatever - I'm bloody impressed that anyone gets up at 4am for any purpose, let alone to listen to A&J (no offence guys).
My time zone means that if I listen live I have to interrupt my dinner - that's dedication in my estimation, but probably not in anyone else's!

Truly you deserve your Black Squadron wings. I'll stick to the 'listen again' and podcast for now, and retain my sanity.

Try listening on a crowded bus on the way home from work, where the only seats left are at the back next to a bunch of young hoodlums. Your aural senses are significantly deprived with earphones in, so you're constantly on guard for what these miscreants might be up to..... now thats hardcore dedication!!
