What is a community?
A community is a word for a group of people who have things in common.
They might live in the same area, go to the same school, do the same activities or have similar backgrounds.
Can I be in more than one community?
We can be a part of many different groups or communities at the same time.
You could be a member of a club, or live in the same neighbourhood as other people.
Being a part of different communities is a great way of making new friends, learning new things and sharing ideas.
There are lots of different communities all over the United Kingdom.
