Some of it is fact 鈥 things that are definitely true.

The new prime minster is giving her first speech and is promising big changes!

But when people talk about what they think鈥

I don鈥檛 agree! I really like her. And I think doubling pocket money is a really, really good idea, actually!

That鈥檚 what we call opinions.
If someone says something is good, or bad, it鈥檚 not a fact, it鈥檚 how they feel.
Sometimes people have already made their minds up about whether something鈥檚 good or bad before they even know anything about it.
VOXPOP MAN
All teens are smelly, and can鈥檛 be trusted. Everybody knows that!

That鈥檚 called being biased.
If you think about what鈥檚 fact and what鈥檚 just opinion, or bias, it鈥檚 a lot easier to make sense of things.
