Aria and Jasper are in a woodland with their teacher. They are prepared with binoculars and outdoor gear.
Animals are Amazing!
Jasper looks through binoculars.
And in a woodland like this, they’re everywhere. What can you find with your binoculars.
Through the binoculars Jasper spots the tail of a fox behind a tree.
A fluffy fox with its big bushy tail.
That’s a mammal, like that nervous deer. Shhhhh
Whoa! That cheeky magpie is a bird.
A magpie swoops low overhead and lands on a branch.
With black and white feathers and a beak.
It’s looking for insects. Like that beautiful buzzing bee.
A bee flies in front of the binoculars, we follow it onto a flower by a pond.
The natural habitat for fish is in water like that pond.
The teacher is looking into the water at fish swimming below the surface.
But they’re not the only amazing animals to call it home.
A frog jumps out behind the teacher with a loud “ribbit”. Causing the teacher to fall into the shallow pond.
