To, too or two?
Homophones are words that sound the same but are spelt differently and have different meanings. To, too and two are homophones that often confuse people.
鈥楾o鈥 is used to show motion, eg "I鈥檓 going to the shop."
鈥楾oo鈥 means 鈥榓lso鈥 or 鈥榚xtremely鈥, eg "I would like to come too but I'm too tired."
鈥楾wo鈥 means the number 2, eg "Let鈥檚 buy two apples."
