The sounds of a busy playground can be heard as we see the edge of the playground with some steps to the main school.
Familiar feelings!
Aria comes over to the ball on the floor looking happy.
You look excited and happy. Does it make you want to cheer and shout?
A thought bubble appears above Aria鈥檚 head where she kicks the ball and it sails in to a corner of a goal.
Of course, because you scored a brilliant goal and want to celebrate.
Josh appears and looks sad.
Oh dear, you look annoyed and sad.
A thought bubble appears above Josh鈥檚 head where we see Josh didn鈥檛 save the goal.
Right, so you couldn鈥檛 save the goal, so your team lost. And that hurt your feelings.
Josh slumps down on to the steps.
That game you played together, felt different for both of you.
Some small events can still give you huge feelings and those feelings can change how we act.
Aria moves over to Josh and pops a hand on his shoulder. Josh picks up his head and looks comforted.
Just look over there.
Jasper is in the playground, trying to tie his shoelaces.
罢丑别测鈥檙别 frustrated because they can鈥檛 tie their shoelaces. It鈥檚 making them feel upset and angry.
Jasper keeps looping his laces around but it falls from his hand.
But now they are being helped by their thoughtful friends. They feel calm and relaxed.
If we find out what causes our feelings, we can learn to understand our emotions鈥 and each other.
