Kate
is so wowed by her friend Anjna's writing skills that she's sent
in some of her work for us to sample.
And by the way Anjna - we think
your work is pretty cool too.

- For the Wind
-
I see your fingers
thread through the long grass And feel your cold breath on my gentle
skin. When you blow in rage we freeze in your grasp And see the
leaves create their silent din.
You have no home, no beginning, no end.
Your presence creates but a whistling sound. You are earth鈥檚 only
vehicle that sends
Away that which lingers upon the ground.
With sight, touch and sound distinguishable
Your formless self remains through history.
You are so powerful, infallible
And yet so enveloped in mystery,
For as you stir softly among the trees,
I know not to love or to fear your breeze. by Anjna Chouhan

- Death -
When I do think about
my death to come, Foreseeing a visit from Death himself, He will inform me that my life
is done
And robed in black, he will rob me of health. Where does Death dwell
in the midst of the day? Bearing sheaths that are poised over the
thread. Cutting life short and feasting on his pray. Instead feeds
cunningly upon our dread.
So now I wonder if death will cause pain.
Will I ascend on wings towards the sky?
Or fall beneath the ground among the slain?
Be he who shall watch me as though a spy,
Until our eyes shall meet and I will see
Life no more as no longer shall I be. by Anjna Chouhan
