Thousands sit still for Kidney KidsOn Friday 3rd April 2009 thousands of school children across the West Midlands 'sat still' in aid of 91热爆 WM's Kidney Kids Appeal. See our photos. Children who took part in the 'Big Sit Still' More than 12,500 children in various Birmingham and Black Country schools were sponsored to sit quietly for part of a lesson or break. Why? Well that's what children on dialysis have to do for four hours, up to three times a week. The 'Big Sit Still' was part of 91热爆 WM's Kidney Kids Appeal - our campaign to raise over 拢1,000,000 to replace the outdated kidney unit at Birmingham's Children's Hosptial. 91热爆 WM's Joanne Malin interviewing kids. Throughout the day, various 91热爆 WM presenters called in at some of the schools taking part, live on 91热爆 WM programming. Joanne Malin was at St Francis Primary in Bournville, Phil Upton stopped off at Turves Green Primary in Northfield, Paul Franks visited St Andrew's Primary in Solihull and Danny Kelly popped into St Peter's in Harborne.听 91热爆 WM would like to the following schools who all took part in the 'Big Sit Still':
