I grew up in Glasgow and was a teacher in both Glasgow and the North East of Scotland. I was a head teacher for 25 years in the Grampian region and Moray.

I consume a wide range of 91热爆 output from 91热爆 Radio Scotland to factual and drama programming on television. I am an ardent follower of current affairs, politics and social issues on 91热爆 news and programming. I believe the 91热爆 has a complicated balancing act to perform to keep in touch with changing audiences in a highly competitive media environment.

I am currently a member of the Adjudicating panel of the General Teaching Council of Scotland. My interests include a variety of outdoor pursuits and gardening.
