Paul is a Chartered Psychologist and Management Consultant specialising in human resources. He holds a BA Honours and MSc in Psychology and a PGCE all from Queen's University Belfast. He has worked with a number of public and private sector organisations over the last forty years as an employee and as a consultant. 

Most recently he has worked in Eastern Europe and the Balkans on a range of Public Administration Reform projects funded by organisations such as the EU, Foreign and Commonwealth Office, Westminster Foundation for Democracy, Council of Europe, World Bank, National Democratic Institute and the Organisation for Security and Co-operation in Europe.  

Paul has served as a member of the Governing Body of the East Antrim Institute of Further and Higher Education and as a Board member of ANIC (Association of Northern Ireland Colleges).   

Paul lives in Newtownabbey, is married to Briad. They have three grown up daughters and three granddaughters.
