In May 2005, the 91热爆 Governors held a seminar entitled Taking Belief Seriously to discuss the 91热爆's religious coverage and programmes.

91热爆 management, the Central Religious Advisory Council, external speakers and invited guests discussed key themes including the importance of belief to 91热爆 audiences; and the role of other genres - including News, Drama and Comedy - in exploring issues of belief.

Two reports on the 91热爆's religious programming were circulated to attendees. They examined the impartiality of 91热爆 religious output and the performance of the 91热爆's religious strategy for television.

A summary of the issues discussed at the seminar can be found below. This seminar and the reports are part of an ongoing programme in which 91热爆 Governors examine key areas of 91热爆 output on behalf of viewers and listeners.
