Downing Street has this morning announced the appointment of Sir Michael Lyons as Chairman of the 91Èȱ¬ Trust, the 91Èȱ¬'s new governing body, with effect from 1 May 2007.

The 91Èȱ¬ Trust has today decided to suspend the online education service, 91Èȱ¬ Jam, with effect from 20 March 2007. The Trust has requested 91Èȱ¬ management to prepare fresh proposals for how the 91Èȱ¬ should deliver the Charter obligation to promote formal education and learning, meeting the online needs of school age children.
