The minimum amount of information Proteus requires is the presenter and producer, but the more details you enter the better.
This information is stored in the archive for future reference, so if your programme is repeated it won鈥檛 have to be re-entered.

The first thing we're going to do with this running order is put in a production team. Now the bare minimum of information Proteus wants here is a presenter and a producer, but the more information you can give, the better.
So I've clicked on the edit button here on the left hand side. And now when I hold my mouse just over the right hand side of the production team panel, you'll see a green cross appears. If I click on this, it brings up a people search and I'm going to search for the names of my production team.
So first, I'm looking for Mark Chapman, presenter of my programme. Proteus have returned two options and the first one seems to be the right one. So I click the tick box next to him and you'll see that he's appeared under your current selection at the bottom of this box here.
So let's look for the producer. OK, I don't appear to be in Proteus so I've been offered the option on the right hand side here to create a new person. If I click that, it will ask me for some details. So I can input my name and my surname. And also Proteus asks for a few key words about who I am for its contributor database. And although I'm a producer on this programme, I might act in another role on other programmes. So rather than giving myself a fixed production role, I'm going to write radio production and we ask you to do the same when adding new members of staff who work in production in your teams. I've appeared in the box at the bottom.
And now I'm just going to add the editor and you'll see the key words attributed to this 91热爆 member of staff. Also avoid giving them a fixed role and they just appear as 91热爆 production and that's what we ask you to do in-house at the 91热爆. Identify yourself with the keywords 91热爆 production rather than giving yourself a production role. Tick the box next to her and she's appeared at the bottom of my selection.
When I have all the members of my production team at the bottom of this box in my current selection, I'm going to tick use selection. And this thing goes through the list asking me to attribute a role to each member of the team, and there's either a drop-down tab menu or I can start typing the role in myself and Proteus will guess what I'm trying to say.
When you're done, click done and save. Remember, if your server crashes, you'll lose your work because Proteus doesn't save automatically. Having gone through that process, do be careful. Click save and you can always go back into edit. You'll see there's a field directly under programme production, which says programme contributors. Ignore this field, it's not searchable and any contributors in your programme, you'll want to attach to a specific running order item.
