The 91热爆's US08 Bus tour across America is at an end.

Here, members of the World Service language services who joined the bus at different points reflect on what they - and their audiences - learnt from the experience.

Duong Hoang, 91热爆 Vietnamese

Duong was on the bus from the start in Los Angeles, California.

He met a number of Vietnamese people in California, and gave his view of the country - the first time he had visited it:

Hassan Solhjoo, 91热爆 Persian

Hassan described the US as "a nation of nations".

He was also very interested in the issue of obesity - finding Americans very big, but also very friendly:

Gulnara Kasmambetova, 91热爆 Kyrgyz

Gulnara spent much of her time bringing the questions from her audience in Kyrgyzistan, Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan to America - as well as observing the divisions within the country:

Dawood Azami, Afghan stream

Dawood reported from the bus in Pashto and Dari.

He says his audience learned a lot about the American political system, and that he personally learned how open most Americans are to expressing their opinions.

Frederique travelled from Dallas to Memphis.

She says many of her listeners were surprised to discover that poverty also exists in America.
