"This is my first attempt at creating a sock monkey, and even though he's lacking some stuffing and a tail, he has lots of charm and character. Created from authentic red heel socks, ordered from America, by my friends Kathy and Graham, my sock monkey could be described as friendly, vain and definitely camp.
I don't collect soft toys but I have been drawn into the crazy world of the sock monkey. One night I went to bed and my sock monkey was sitting on the windowsill. The next morning he had moved. Maybe sock monkeys come to life after dark, well at least I hope so."
