"As a family, we've always gone to Chester Zoo. When I was young, my mum, dad, my brother and me would go a couple of times a year for a family day out. I used to think it was great. We'd get to see loads of different exotic animals, feed the farm animals and sometimes I would even get to do a bit of drawing.
And then of course, there was Dad's tiger. That's what we were really there for. He had sponsored it on his 40th birthday and my mum would always point it out to me and my brother when we strolled past the cage whilst my dad spent what seemed like hours taking pictures of it.
I used to really enjoy going but of course, after a while, it got boring and I stopped. The tiger is still there and my parents still go quite a lot but now take my cousins with them instead. My mum says that dad still spends hours taking photos of it over and over again, trying to get the right shot.
Even thought I'm now older and don't go anymore, I think that in a couple of years' time when the tiger is gone and my parents have stopped going, I'll probably look back and regret now cherishing it as a family event."
