"That's me waiting for the bus at 7.00 in the morning. I do this most mornings and you know why? This is why. That's where I live. Looks lovely, doesn't it? Bored yet? There's plenty of views around here like that. Nothing else, mind, apart from the phone box and the pub. And I really mean nothing. Look, what else can you see in that picture?

The people who do live around here are quite content living in this endless cycle of monotony. Many of them appear to grow up, marry, spawn and die in this desolate outland with no other ambition to their name.

I'm always reminded about how special it is that I can speak the Welsh language as well as being told how lovely it must be to have all of this scenery on my doorstep, mainly by people who forget the fact that I have to travel 30 miles to the nearest supermarket. It's not as if it's a horrible place, it's just dull and that's why I'm here at 7.00 in the morning waiting for the bus. This seems the only way I have of leaving this place and doing something interesting. Well, when I say interesting ..."
