"When I was 14, I woke up with my 2nd wrinkle." Giorgia has a name for each wrinkle on her face and behind every line is a story.

Transcript

"I called my first wrinkle Mama. I reckon I was born with a little mark on my face. Mama created it at the moment she stroked her belly thinking I was inside.

When I was 14, I woke up with my second wrinkle. I was worried but my Mum told me, "My love, this is the same line that your Dad has all around his honest eyes." I felt so proud.

I decided to call the wrinkle Elisiana - the name of my cheeky sister - because she caused it. When I was three, she came into my room saying... "I have to tell you a secret Giorgia. You are big enough now to know that Mama found you in the rubbish bin. I'm sure because I'm older than you and I never remember her with a big belly." That cruel detail put a huge question mark on my face.

The name of my third wrinkle is Papa. The sign on my face appeared for the first time after I cried for three days without interruption. I was four and determined to ride my bike. I remember my father's voice and the terror when I saw him laughing and shouting, "Look at you Giorgia! Now you are cycling!" One second later, I tumbled.

And then the two lines I am most proud of - around my mouth. Their name is Martin. They jumped on my face a couple of years ago when I found my most secure smile. It was when I realised I had met my Mr. Right.

Now I feel proud of my five lines and every time I smile or cry, I run to the mirror looking for another story on my face."

End credit: Thank you to Babel for the music.

"What a wonderfully heartfelt and deeply personal part of yourself you have shared with the world. It is a reminder to everyone to be grateful for who and what we are. I hope your tale inspires many other digital stories."
