Teesside Autodrome in Middlesborough played host to a display of drift car racing on听 Wednesday the 18th June.

Drifting is the fastest growing motorsport in the last 50 years and is about to capture everybodys attention, the drivers hit speeds of 100mph, and can reach speeds of up to 70mph sideways.

They basically go fast, slide around corners, and get marked on their ability to "drift".

The sport has captured the attention of Boyzone's Shane Lynch amongst others, and 91热爆 Tees' Ruth Trench was given the opportunity to go in adrift car for a demonstration.
