We rejoin the young crew who are conducting their interview with World War Two veteran, Fergus Anckorn.
The interview is progressing well, but their is an issue with the sound levels. The team stop the interview to rectify the problem.
The importance of clear sound recording when filming is explored along with some ideas for troubleshooting any potential sound issues that you might face.
We then see two films made by other school children that demonstrate clear sound quality. The films were made as part of the 91热爆's Make Film - Greatest Generation project.
Teacher Notes
Get the pupils to explore the best ways to use and place the microphone to ensure the best sound quality is achieved.
Ask them to consider how close they need to place the mircrophone to the interviewee and the other sounds that might be picked up. Can they soundproof the room? Which microphone works best?
