Aside from the prestige and glory, the win meant 500 free CD pressings, which was nice given that they'd just recorded some new tracks. Band members have previously served with other local bands such as The Exiles, Dopejam, Miss Black America and The Secret Hairdresser. Lyrically the band show a willingness to write about The Big Issues - judge for yourselves whether they pull it off or not. Having supported Julian Cope and continued gigging across Suffolk, London and the rest of the UK, a drummer was brought in to replace the less-than-reliable drum machine.
