Here we are back with a bang and I've been so excited ever since we've been back on air that I haven't been able to sleep properly since Saturday's show. The adrenaline hasn't quite left my system yet. And breathe.

What a line up, I along with the rest of the nation was breathless in anticipation at seeing our sexy celebrities dance for the first time. It was men's night of course on Saturday and what about Tom and Austin, a revelation, the pair of them.

I did giggle at Craig attempting to criticise Tom calling him "smug and mincey", err pot, kettle, black anyone!...

It's always the cruellest cut of all and Sunday saw actor Phil Daniels being the first to leave the show leaving poor partner Flavia (last year's finalist) in buckets of bewildered tears afterwards. I adored cheeky chappie Phil from the off, such a joker. But alas it was not to be.

Other hot topics included that cat suit that Ola was (almost) wearing. Ola looked mind-blowingly gorgeous as ever and that cat suit was sheer genius. My best friend Orla has been wanting one of her very own ever since and my husband has been dropping a few hints too. Sorry the wardrobe never gets to leave the studio and come home with us.

And of course the hot news, from the horse's mouth, is that Mark Foster pledged to dance in his swimming trunks if he makes the final, what a promise! And I didn't even have to run around petitioning the ladies, hehe, just kidding. But oh what a delicious prospect!

On Saturday a little bird told me that strictly has a huge fan in the shape of a certain Kate Moss, who bumped into him in LA and mentioned that she loved the show and would love to compete, except the time commitment would be tough with her busy schedule, shame I'd give anything to see her Salsa.

Backstage we were all having a bit of a debate about chest hair on a man. For starters our professional men were displaying the full range of rug, if you like. There's Ian shaved bare, pecks a glistening beautifully, whereas Anton is still sporting the full untamed rug. To wax or not to wax that seems to be the question.

And along with our stellar professionals we welcome three new dancers to the fold all of them hugely successful on Strictly's sister show, Dancing with the Stars, throughout the world. Hayely Holt who partners Mark Foster comes to us all the way from New Zealand; mind you I'm sure being partnered with Mark was worth crossing the globe for.

As well as competing on Dancing with the stars in New Zealand, Hayley is a huge star in her own right. Hayley and her boyfriend the All Black's Rugby captain Richie McCaw are New Zealand's star couple and their equivalent to Posh and Becks. But being Kiwi he's definitely a bit more low- key. Richie was in the audience this week to cheer on Hayley in her first week, had I known I would have hijacked him for a photo. Like all of New Zealand my Kiwi brother-in-law is a massive All Blacks fan.

We also welcomed Brian Fortuna who along with Kristina Rihanoff is a dancing star in the U.S. Brian promises to be a dynamite addition to the show. With his boyish good looks he is the youngest of our male professionals and he actually celebrated his 26th birthday on Saturday night. Oh what a party.

Kristina our new blonde bombshell, who partners John Sergeant, is possibly one of the most glamorous dancers I've ever seen. Isn't she a dead-ringer for another famous blonde? Brian actually told me that she has Marilyn on her licence plate in tribute to her icon.

It was wonderful to welcome Alesha back to show, the new bunch were aghast at her performance and sheer ability. The ladies were knock-kneed with nerves back stage realising the standard they must aspire to, with Gillian and Heather looking particularly petrified. How will they fare next Saturday with their individual performances? I, like the rest of you, can't wait to find out. See you then.
