Oh no, console yourself! Austin our dazzling rugbylicious showman is out! Despite never being in the bottom two and topping the leader board more than anyone else, the judges decided he deserved to go in the dance-off against Lisa.

But, by way of compensation he whipped off his shirt to show us those guns one last time as he did his last dance. And goodness me, I, along with plenty of others, am going to miss that chest. He'd done 500 sit-ups this week in preparation for those lifts in the American Smooth and it showed. I think my husband will be getting a rowing machine for Christmas, and a chest wax and a spray tan. Tee hee!

And, wasn't that a flipping brilliant flip in his salsa. Talk about going out with a bang and not a whimper!

Lisa survived her third dance-off with a wonderful waltz that delighted all four of the judges and finds herself with two feet firmly in the semi-final.

Rachel, the lady in red in her Tango broke a hat-trick of records with a score of 39 and looked so exquisite doing it, just like a professional dancer. Vincent hardly slept this week as he'd been so pre-occupied with the perfect choreography for his and Rachel's routine, confessing to staying up most evenings until 2am in order to get every step right. It's also poignant as Vincent was one of the first to leave the show last year along with partner Stephanie Beecham.

This will be his first semi-final and Rachel was determined to get there for him. I anticipate their Argentine tango this week will be the one to watch since that dance, of course, is Vincent's speciality.

Arlene declared its 'raw sex sensuality' that's necessary for the Argentine tango and since all three remaining couples will be performing it should make for a very interesting night!

And how much did you enjoy that disco-tastic hustle performed by Brian and Kristina? Wow! It was like being transported back to Studio 54 in the 70s. I loved it! What next on Strictly? 80s rave dancing? All together now - big fish, little fish, cardboard box!

And our dear lovely Tom who'd been so, so nervous backstage, pacing like a caged beast. And Camilla too even admitted that she'd never felt so nervous before. But Tom went on to wow all the judges finally and not before time with the foxtrot and couldn't stop the tears as one by one the judges sang his praises.

But it was the Rumba he was afraid of, worried about the intimacy and femininity of the dance. It's certainly a lot tougher for the male celebs to pull off than the females. Camilla confided in me that Clare, Tom's new wife, had actually texted her the night before Saturday's show and asked for a copy of the music they were performing the Rumba too, so that she could play it at home in a 'romantic setting', as it were, to help her Tom get in the mood for love. How sweet and accommodating is that!

Camilla was as impressed as I was. Not only was she giving her man the permission to get raunchy with another woman but also showing him how to do it! Now, that's worth our respect girls!

So, onto next week's all-important semi-final. And then there were just three: Tom, Rachel and Lisa. Who wins? It's impossible still to predict; only time will tell. See you there for more fun and frolics and a whole heap of drama on the dance floor.
