Cherie and James, are busy perfecting their American Smooth. The high-ranking twosome are in a good mood despite being tired after Saturday's show, and even indulge in some mild flirting, with James telling Cherie that he has fantasies about her hands! Despite these saucy interludes, Cherie is, as ever, the obedient pupil, listening and watching James at all times. She even remarks that they have "the perfect teacher/pupil relationship".

At the end of their session, James is pleased with their progress and states that in his opinion one of their American Smooth moves "will be one of the most beautiful steps ever seen on Strictly Come Dancing". They left the session with high hopes for the weekend, with James happily adding, "I'm so proud of Cherie, she's the perfect partner. She's warm, fantastic. I hope this can continue for a long, long time… "
