Heather has a slow start to the week as she and partner Brian go through the moves of the Cha Cha Cha. She struggles to pick up some of the steps and tells Brian that she's 'lost' on a number of occasions, but the singer is more upbeat and confident about her performance than in recent times.

The good performance she put in last weekend and the fact the couple weren't in the bottom two has clearly lifted Heather, and she notes that she broke through a mental barrier on Saturday night, "I think I owed it to Brian and myself to do better, I tried my absolute hardest. I lost myself in the dance."

Another couple who are struggling to pick up the moves, but remaining upbeat nonetheless, are John and Kristina. They're going through the Foxtrot, and gentleman John is finding some parts of the new routine a bit baffling.

Kristina teases him with, "Earth calling John Sergeant!" She determined to transform John into Fred Astaire though, and is very proud of her partner and his performance in the Paso last week. She thinks that how John's dancing has given people confidence to go out and try dancing for themselves, as he is a bit of an 'everyman'.

Both John and Kristina describe his participation in the show as a great antidote to the credit crunch, and remark that he is lifting the spirits of the nation. Kristina adds, "If John is dancing the whole world is okay... he makes everyone feel good!"
