Christine is in an excitable mood today. She and Matt get the giggles as they begin to go through the Paso Doble, and the presenter enjoys herself so much she struggles to maintain the strong and aggressive face required for the dance, and instead spends most of her time laughing. However, Christine says that she's really starting to get into 'this dancing lark' now, and she was really buoyed by the judges' comments on Saturday night. She was really pleased with Arlene's remarks about her fun attitude and enthusiasm for the Samba, and as a result, her confidence levels have risen.

She enthuses that she "loves, lives and breathes dancing" and adds that she never thought she'd love it so much, but Christine admits that she's not the finished article quite yet. The challenge for her this week is to show a completely different, angry side of her character whilst putting a performance together which will move her up the leader board - and Matt promises, "I'm not going to let her smile at all and will get her to be aggressive!"

Someone else trying to find his angry side is John Sergeant. The genial gent listens as partner Kristina explains that the Paso Doble is all about "life and death... Man's fight against a bull... in which one lives and one dies." She goes on to explain that it's a very serious dance, and uses John's jacket to demonstrate the movement of the cape in the routine. John can't resist a joke though, and comments that they should remove his wallet from the jacket as at the moment, "It's a very expensive cape."

They walk through a couple of the steps and Kristina likens the movement to being in the army, adding, "John SERGEANT!" John finds this easy to relate to, but still fails to grasp the steps early on. They're still chuckling though, and Kristina tells him off, comparing him to a naughty schoolboy. He's more like a Neanderthal man when he has to drag Kristina across the floor though. John's still determined to master the passion of the Paso and remarks that he can see the dark and light sides of the dance - and he likes that. He's going to go all out to please the judges on Saturday night, adding, "They think we're pussycats but we're not pussycats - we're lions and tigers!"
