Lisa is in high spirits after finishing joint top of the leader board on Saturday night. She explains that she felt 'in character' when dancing her American Smooth as her costume, hair and make-up made her feel like a Hollywood film star. This helped her overcome her nerves, and she hopes to take a similar approach this week with the Paso Doble - a dance which requires passion and fire. She's feeling confident though and remarks on how exciting the dance is, adding that she was particularly impressed by Brendan and Brian's fight scene in Saturday's group Paso. She's keen to incorporate something similar into her upcoming routine and offers some advice to Brendan regarding the choreography, which he takes on board.

The normally-fiery Kiwi is full of joy, remarking that he and Lisa are an inspiration to each other and that he's pleased his partner has suggestions for the dance moves. He's more than happy with Lisa's new outlook, remarking that she's "becoming a dancer now - it's very inspiring, we work really well together. At least we know now that we're capable of being up there and possibly be one of the front runners - and that's a nice feeling!"
