Jodie and Ian are also tackling the basics of the American Smooth. The pressure of perfecting a routine in five days is starting to get to the model, and after spending a long time on the beginning of the routine, Ian decides to show Jodie a lift from a step. They try this a few times, and despite the complicated look of the move, Jodie says she's really comfortable with it. The couple are still having fun, falling about and laughing, but Jodie is taking things seriously despite the joking around. She says she's been humbled after being saved by the British public in last week's show, and is now even more determined to do them proud and "dance her little socks off".

It seems that Jodie and Ian are quite happy to kiss their little socks off too, following Saturday night's cheeky smooch on the dance floor. When Jodie does something well, Ian rushes over to give her several kisses on the forehead and when this spurs her on to perform her moves well a second time he says, "Its amazing what a kiss can do, eh?"
