After a long day on Saturday the boys decided to try and keep the energy going and the morale high by dressing up for their group session. Based on an idea that was the brainchild of Austin, the group all arrived wearing 80's "Fame" dance clothes!

For what was to be the last male group dance, both the male celebs and the pro's got into the 80's spirit with Don wearing a sparkly top and John sporting a fluorescent pink net glove and a tied up shirt!!

Spirits were high at the start of the session and on a number of occasions Richard had to ask the guys to help him out by listening and concentrating, rather than chatting away and asking too many questions!

The big surprise for the boys was that the Rueda, the dance they were learning, was based around partner swapping - so after a couple of months of dancing exclusively with their allocated partners the boys found themselves dancing with each and every pro girl !

As the instigator of the plan, Austin's costume was the most extreme with a full on afro wig, headband, shorts, pink fishnet gloves and pink stripey legwarmers. Alas, the wig didn't last long before he shed it: "I'm sweating like mad in the wig…"

Mark resembled more of a basketball player than an actual kid from fame and on several occasions Mark took on the role of group motivator, saying "we're smokin'", "come on boys, let's nail it" and "it's 10's all round for this!"

Mark struggled with the names for some of the moves and so changed them to terms he could more easily remember. One such example was the 'superman' arm, which soon became the 'swim' and adopted as such by the rest of the group. Mark even took it upon himself to demonstrate to the rest of the group just how the 'swim' should be swum!
