Christine and Matt were in top form as they got to grips with a flicky, bouncy and wiggly Jive. Unable to hide her enthusiasm for the Jive, Christine says "It's my favourite dance, I love to watch people jiving, it always looks like they are really having fun."
Christine's enthusiastic attitude carried her through the session as she grasped new steps incredibly quickly and came close to completing the whole routine! Matt on the other hand had to turn to former partner Nicole for advice with the routine after drawing a few blanks. Overall the session was effortless with Christine helping Matt by reminding him which steps were coming next, demonstrating how comfortable she is with the Jive.
Christine has reacted positively and hasn't let the 'Ok' comments from the judges get her down. Instead she is improving her skills, responding to advice and correcting what she has been doing wrong. "This is my opportunity to prove to judges that my bottom half is not wooden, it does move".
Christine is excited about the prospect of performing the Jive on Saturday. She is determined to up her game and climb to the top of the leader board, saying "I feel I've been tiptoeing around the edges of this competition, I want the judges to acknowledge that I am a big contender in this Show". Clearly she is focused on giving her best performance this weekend, even swapping her comfy trainers to ballroom shoes in order to perform her steps more precisely.
