Today, more and more homosexual couples over 40 are tying the knot… 43 year old Rob and 47 year old Mark both previously had heterosexual marriages, and children from these marriages, before they 'came out'. Not too long after they got together they decided to tie the knot in a civil ceremony. Same sex couples have been able to do this in England since the end of 2005. But why did they feel it important to get married, and what did their families think about their second marriages?
