Young reporters for 91Èȱ¬ Blast Young music reporters for the 91Èȱ¬ wanted!If you would love to have the opportunity to share your thoughts and experiences of the local music scene in Staffordshire, then Blast is for you! Applications for this summer’s scheme for young reporters are now open. Do you love music, attending gigs and festivals? Could you tell the rest of the world about your passion? Yes? An exciting opportunity has arisen to work alongside our local 91Èȱ¬ websites and Radio Stations. This summer the 91Èȱ¬ is looking for reporters to report on some of the best-unsigned bands around. You will be expected to cover everything from Hip-Hop through Bhangra to Rock and Indie - and then get creative by writing reports, taking photos and even making videos about what you have attended. A proven interest in musicYou will need a proven interest in music, and have a vision to turn your ideas into content for the web and radio. You do not need to be a budding journalist; you just need passion for the music and want to share it!
Due to Health & Safety considerations, you will have to be aged 18 or over to apply for this placement. We welcome applicants from all age groups; however, this particular programme has been specifically designed for applicants from 18-22 age range in order to meet the learning requirements of that group.
