Andy Murray joins International Premier Tennis League
Andy Murray has been included among several 'icon players' in the draft for the International Premier Tennis League to take place in December.
The Wimbledon champion is among 70 players that have agreed to enter the players' draft in Dubai this Sunday.
He joins world number one Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic and Stanislas Wawrinka, this year's Australian Open champion.
The women icon players for the inaugural tournament include Serena Williams and Victoria Azarenka.
Both Andre Agassi and Pete Sampras will also be included in the draft in the past champions and legends category.
The IPTL will be played in Asia between November 28 and December 20 at the end of the regular 2014 tennis season and will feature five teams based in Hong Kong, Mumbai, Singapore, Bangkok and Kuala Lumpur playing home and away.
Each match will be played over the best of five sets, with each set to be played in a different format - men's singles, women's singles, men's doubles, mixed doubles and men's legends.
