Canada fly-half Perry re-joins Exeter Chiefs
Canada fly-half Taylor Perry has re-joined Exeter Chiefs for the upcoming Premiership Women's Rugby season.
The 23-year-old moved to Exeter in their inaugural season in 2020 and played 14 times for the club, scoring three tries.
She has won 14 caps for Canada but missed out on a place at the last World cup after suffering a serious knee injury.
"Witnessing the team's growth over the past three years has been inspiring, and it's exactly what attracted me to join," Perry told the club website.
鈥淭heir near misses with the league finals only fuels my belief that this team is capable of finishing on top.
"If I鈥檓 able to come and contribute to this, I would be very grateful for the opportunity."
Scotland pair Mairi McDonald and Eilidh Sinclair have also signed new deals to stay at Sandy Park.
Scrum-half McDonald, 26, joined Exeter two years ago and has won 23 caps for her country, while winger Sinclair has scored 15 tries in 39 appearances since her Exeter debut in December 2021.
"Both Mairi and Eilidh have been important members of our squad for the last few years," Appleby added.
"They understand the Chiefs ethos and are always ready to contribute to our efforts both on and off the pitch.鈥
