Hallam Amos: Win over Cardiff Blues will improve Dragons' image
Newport Gwent Dragons wing Hallam Amos says winning their European clash against Cardiff Blues on Saturday would change how the team is perceived.
A big crowd is expected at Rodney Parade for the Challenge Cup quarter-final and Amos, 20, says victory will prove Dragons are making progress.
"The perception of us in the last few years hasn't been the best," said Amos.
"Winning these kind of games is what's going to change that in the public eye."
Amos, who was in the Wales squad during the Six Nations and recently signed a dual contract, scored a try in the region's 32-17 win against Treviso in their last match.
That win followed the 26-22 triumph against Ulster, a run of results which has seen Dragons move up to ninth in the table.
"We are a young side across the park with a few old heads in places," said Amos.
"It really shows where we are as a team... we are on the up."
