Six Nations 2015: Wales treat Leigh Halfpenny for concussion

Wales full-back Leigh Halfpenny is being treated for concussion after coming off during his team's 20–61 win against Italy in the Six Nations.

Italy number eight Samuela Vunisa caught Halfpenny's head with his knee as the Welshman tackled.

The Toulon player was taken off the pitch immediately, six minutes before half-time.

The 26-year-old was replaced by Scott Williams, who went on the wing, with Liam Williams switching to full-back.

Scrum V's Ross Harries told television viewers during the match that Halfpenny "Didn't need a head injury assessment because it was obvious from the knock he took on the pitch he was concussed."

Wales later confirmed Halfpenny was being treated for concussion.
