Ospreys centre out for the rest of the season after ankle operation
Ospreys centre Tom Isaacs is out for the rest of the season after undergoing surgery on his ankle.
Isaacs first suffered the injury in the 17-29 Heineken Cup defeat against Northampton in January.
Ospreys medical performance manager, Chris Towers, explained why the operation was necessary.
"Tom suffered complications in his recovery and after taking expert advice the decision was made that surgery was the best way forward," said Towers.
"He had his operation and is recovering well. He's starting his rehab now."
Isaacs is expected to be back in around 10 weeks time.
