Nevin Spence is named Ulster Rugby Personality of the year

The late Nevin Spence was named Ulster Rugby Personality of the Year at the club's annual awards on Friday night.

The award citation said Spence's spirit "continues to inspire and motivate each and every member of the Ulster squad".

Andrew Trimble was named player of the year and supporters player of the year with Iain Henderson taking the young player honour.

Robbie Diack took the most improved player honour with Stuart Olding named Ulster Rugby Academy player of the year.

Ballynahinch were named club of the year after winning the All-Ireland League Division 1B and the Ulster Senior League with Ashleigh Baxter picking up the women's player of the year award after helping Ireland land a first ever women's Grand Slam.
