Rob Miller & Daniel Braid agree Sale Sharks contracts
Full-back Rob Miller and flanker Daniel Braid have extended their contracts with Premiership strugglers Sale.
Miller, who ended last season as the Premiership's leading try scorer, has been with the Sharks since 2010.
Former New Zealand international Braid, 31, joined Sale in January and has been pivotal in the club's recent revival.
Steve Diamond's side, who have won their last four matches in all competitions, host Premiership leaders Harlequins on Friday evening.
But Miller will not be involved at the Salford City Stadium having failed a fitness test ahead of the fixture.
On signing his new deal, the 23-year-old told 91热爆 Radio Manchester: "There are quite a few of us that are in the same position [approaching the end of a contract].
"It's never an easy time of the year for a professional player but I certainly think I've made the right decision and one that I'm happy with."
Director of rugby Diamond, who revealed earlier this week that offers had been made to 10 players, told the "Rob and Dan signing new deals is our statement of intent here at Sale Sharks.
"Rob has made the full-back position his own. He not only defends and attacks well, but is a very capable kicker and has nailed several important kicks for us recently.
"Dan has slotted in perfectly at the club. Since joining us, he has been one of our standout players and everyone at the club is delighted that he has committed himself to Sale."
