British & Irish Cup: Pontypridd clash with Jersey postponed
Saturday's British & Irish Cup match between Pontypridd and Jersey has been called off because of heavy snow in Wales.
The game was postponed after a pitch inspection at Sardis Road early on Friday morning.
Pontypridd still have hopes of qualifying for the quarter-finals, while the islanders already know they cannot make the next round.
A date for the rescheduled match is yet to be announced.
"The ground was under a seven-to-nine inch layer of snow and unplayable," said a spokesperson for the Welsh Principality Premiership champions.
"There has been a concerted effort to find an alternative venue for the game to be played, but without success."
