Jersey's Ashley Maggs gets two-week ban for Bristol red card

Jersey centre Ashley Maggs has been banned until 5 December and fined 拢250 after being sent off in the 39-16 Championship loss at Bristol.

Maggs pleaded guilty to a dangerous tackle at a Rugby Football Union Disciplinary Panel hearing in London.

The ban means the 26-year-old former Northampton and Bristol player will miss Saturday's game with Newcastle.

He will also miss the crucial bottom-of the-table clash with Doncaster at Castle Park on 30 November.
