Glasgow Warriors sign loosehead prop Ofa Fainga'anuku

Glasgow Warriors have signed Tonga international loosehead prop Ofa Fainga'anuku until January.

Fainga'anuku, who has represented Super Rugby franchise The Waratahs, will provide cover for Jon Welsh and Ed Kalman.

Warriors head coach Gregor Townsend said he was happy with his new addition.

"We're delighted to bring on board a man with Test experience," Townsend said.

Following injuries to prop Kalman, hooker Pat MacArthur and flanker Rob Harley, the Warriors head coach was keen to bolster his squad.

Townsend said Fainga'anuku would "give more depth to an area where we have two long-term injuries".
