Bristol sign Scotland and Edinburgh prop Kyle Traynor
Championship club Bristol have signed Scotland loose-head prop Kyle Traynor on a one-year deal.
The 26-year old front-rower made 16 appearances for Heineken Cup semi-finalists Edinburgh last season, scoring two tries.
"A club like Bristol is steeped in history and very, very ambitious, so I don't see it has a step down at all," he told
"I see it as a great move for myself and hopefully Bristol as well."
The London-born prop made his Scotland debut against Fiji in 2009 and has three caps for his country, while he has 80 appearances altogether in Celtic League and European club rugby for Edinburgh.
Bristol head coach Liam Middleton : "Kyle fits the profile of player we want joining Bristol Rugby.
"He is a excellent professional with good athletic ability and physical potential.
"For a young player he has a bank of domestic, European and international experience.
"Kyle is a formidable scrummager and his dynamism and work rate in the field impresses me."
