National League One: Jersey 32-5 Blackheath
Jersey finished a remarkable year with a 32-5 win over Blackheath at St Peter.
Tries from Ashley Maggs, Nick Trower, Guy Thompson and David Bishop along with a penalty-try gave the islanders their 11th win in a row.
Blackheath had taken the lead in the opening minutes through winger James Stephenson but it was to be their only score of the game.
Jersey go into the Christmas break in second place in National One, a point behind out-of-form leaders Ealing.
The island side lost just three games during 2011 and would be clear at the top if they had not been docked five points earlier in the season for playing too many foreign players.
Head coach Ben Harvey told 91热爆 Radio Jersey: "Blackheath are a very good side and I thought they were very dogged today.
"I thought we played terrifically in the second half against the wind and managed to control the game."
Despite the defeat Blackheath stay sixth in the league.
Coach Bobby Howe said: "At the minute our favourites to go up are Jersey.
"I just think Jersey look a lot more powerful than most of the other teams."
